Joined a server and my badge wouldn't show up for like 10 minutes and everything worked during that time! I was so happy.
Which brings us to... can UWE disable buggy badges until patch? or let us chose if we want to disable them
@cream I couldn't care less about badges and all that shiny stuff. I'm a bit too old for things like standing out of the crowd and being a hero supporter. All I want is to have a great, original and polished enough game I can play every day on my Linux rig. If money can fulfill that I'm glad to pay.

@cream Ahem... as I see you're not new here but yes, since the build 254 it works on Linux but not Mac. It's funny to see Mac users rageposting on Steam Forums because they were left behind out of sudden. Now they feel like we do watching all these bioshock infinites passing by... Unfortunately, Reinforced brought not only Linux support but also these memory fragmentation issues. If it makes you feel better, NS2 crashes on Linux the same way exactly. True crossplatformness FTW!
Yeah dunno why it's not closed, since it's fixed for next patch.
except the next patch is not out yet, which is why it's still not fixed, which is why this thread is still open.
what's the patch release date again? "probably next thursday". i've taken to replacing every estimated deadline from "probably x" to "definitely not x, maybe x + 4... or never".
its nice to try to train for nsl matches when shitz like this breaks game for players and they lose interest to train. Thus breaking up even more teams this week.

He did not really fix it. He just disabled all buggy functions
The quotation marks were implying just that.
