Cant launch game anymore! Black screen. HELP!

Just since the newest patch, I can no longer launch the game. When I launch it, it goes to a black screen with my white cursor and stays there. Eventually, I have to CTRL ALT DEL and End Task the game. Is this happening to anyone else?

I would go to %appdata%/Natural Selection 2/ and remove the file system_options.xml
should sort things out. if it does not please post the zip file from running techsupport.exe in you ns2 install directory.
