Well, if it is, it is funky since we got a command chair to spawn in midair.
I'd have no problem testing a beta patch. I've been running my NS server from the beginning of the 1.0 release, and I have a lot of experience running hlds and hlds_l servers (since CS b7.x days -- that's since Mid-2000ish?)

Didn't mean anything by it, just that I'd seen some "I've got v1.03b" posts about a week ago that was shot down right quick. I'm sure we wont see a full list of the changes until the patch is done and 1.03 is officially released, but for a preview head over to the 'Bug Reports' forum and look at some of the threads. Look at the threads that are locked and have last been posted to by Flayra...
What does one have to do to become a server beta tester? I do all kinds of beta testing and have quite a bit of experience with hlds & hlds_l (2 1/2 years) and would be willing to set up another dedicated 2.4GHz P4 w/ 533FSB Dell workstation, 512MB DDR just for beta testing new server compilations. I sent an email to the dev, but haven't gotten a response. Ah well. Just trying to help out here

I need to talk to you about some of the 1.03 Beta stuff. If you can find me in #nsserver sometime that'd be great.
Thanks.
