After asking so many questions on these forums, I've decided to give something back that I've been using. Not sure if anybody else has been doing this in Spark or not, but it's a great technique for making curves in irregular places (ie corners that aren't 90 degrees).

Here's the wiki article describing this more. About 2/3rds of the way down the page there are some excellent GIFs illustrating this and higher order bezier curves as well.

Nice tutorial, I was entirely unfamiliar with this system. I added it to our NS2SCC Third Party Mapping Tutorials playlist on youtube. :)

Have you been using that much? It may just be because you were stepping through it for the tutorial, but it seemed like a bit of a drawn out process - not quite something you can zoom through on autopilot.

I mostly try to use the copy->paste->rotate->etc method, but sometimes the corners are at a weird angle and you can't do that. It doesn't take that much longer. It goes really fast with practice (also depending on how much of spark's BS you have to deal with... ie if it decides to make you select the edges one by one rather than being able to do the double click selection)
