Editor wont start

in Mapping
So I wantet to start learning the basics of ns2 mapping.
After reading a couple guides I startet up the Editor but it instantly crashed.
Trying it a couple of times and restarting my pc didnt help and I couldnt find any help about that problem.

Any suggestions?

    Operating system? How did you start the editor? Did you try verifying your files via steam?

    Might help if you post the log, even though it is rarely ever useful for the editor. Try verifying.

    Did something go wrong while patching or how does this happen?
