Lerk - spores, umbra, primal scream

I think that now umbra is quite ...ukhm... underused. Commanders dont like spending tres for researching it. It has only 25% dmg reduction. Ive got an idea that umbra might be switched with spores upgrade (in biomass system) and added more dmg reduction. Lerk assistance in team fights would be more useful. I think that spores should be available faster and umbra later with better dmg reduction.

What about adding primal scream to lerk as 3rd hive ability ? NS1 players remember an idea of this ability (it might be changed to add speed and adrenalin regen instead of rate of bites).

I really liked it when spores came first and umbra reduced damage by 50%, really saw people use it back then. Especially now that flame throwers come faster a bit earlier spores wouldn't be so big a threat early/mid game as it was before

Is it really that low or is the wiki outdated? Not so odd I never see it. Have it at 35% instead?

Yeah, it's outdated, it lists Lerks at 30 PRES

Another failure of the umbra system is that one does not receive points nor kills - something a lot of players care about. You could be the most useful player on your team, but because you played selflessly, you'll perhaps not be at the top.

Lerk should be awarded for spore assistance. Lerk player might gain points when spored team mate kills an enemy.

Lerk Umbra is borderline OP when combo'ing with gorge heal + mucus membrane. It is far from useless...

It's probably not so useful in pub because of the lack of coordination....
