Server specified hotkeys interfering with my own

I had a look through here to find a similar thread with no luck. So in short, I use a strange keybind setup, it's not really flexible as I've been using it for some 17 years now, basically the alternate fire key has a server-specific duplicate that opens a vote menu. As I'm usually using this key when I'm in a crisis situation, closing out the menu, or changing that alternate fire key to something else is terribly inconvenient, is there a way to edit or disable the bindings a server dishes out to you?

    Do you mean the shine votemenu?

    If so you can rebind it with "bind <key> sh_votemenu" in the console. You can get all avaible keys for bind by just using "bind" in console.

    In generall all console binding are saved to %APPDATA%/Natural Selection 2/ConsoleBindings.json
