Can't start the game

Hi guys,
I just bought NS2, I played it before on one of the free weekends and everything was fine. Now, when I open the game I can't click the Optimize button. So I press Skip and then after choosing an option nothing happens; I have to alt-F4 it. I tried restarting Steam and verifying the cache integrity.

Hi @Draggy,

The first thing i would try is going to be verifying the integrity of your steam cache.

That should fix the issue. If it does not we can try some other stuff after.

I already tried it. I now completely unistalled NS2 following the guide on this forum and I'm downloading it again, hope it will help.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble, most of the time, deleting the cache directory will sort things out... the path is:

"C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Natural Selection 2"
