Well I'm pretty much stumped on this one and I am honestly not sure what I have configured incorrectly. I have read the Wiki howto on how to setup a server and followed all of the instructions. The server seems to start up correctly from the console but it has problems accepting connections. This NS2 server is running on Windows 2008 R2. I have forwarded ports 27015 and 27016 to the server's internal static IP address. Here's the console log:
So when I attempt to connect to the server it displays the error messages that you see above and the only way I can try and connect is by using the console window since it doesn't show up on the master list. Any ideas as to what I should try?

If other multiplayer Steam games do not work either, then Steam could be down, or your firewall is bl ocking it.

EDIT: having said that.... the server is seeing the client connecting, suggesting that the firewall isnt the problem, however just turn off the firewall for a test if the server is internal
Also I know the firewall is off, but you don't need TCP. UDP is all thats required to be opened.
