Game randomly freezes and throws an error.

I've had this problem for the last couple of days. I've tried reinstalling the game but the issue persists.
The error I receive is Failed to allocate 536870916 bytes and will now terminate.

pc specs:
Win 7 64bit
intel i7
8gb ram
nvidia gtx 550 ti

    Anyone? I'm really enjoying the game but this issue is making it unplayable.

    Sounds like its leaking memory.

    * be sure to play in DX9, not DX11. (DX11 is experimental, so if you play 11 try this)
    * disable and delete all mods.
    * Although windowed mode is godly, use fullscreen to test if you dont play fullscreen.
    * dont alt tab.
    * check if other programs on your computer use to much memory instead.
    * update all drivers.
