Can't get friends to join my vs Bots server.

I've forwarded the port range 27000 - 27050 and 1200 as I read somewhere. They were able to enter a password, but then they received a 'Couldn't establish a connection with the server' error. I've even tried setting my PC in the DMZ of my router to see if my ports were wrong, and still the same issue.

Please help. I'd like to play with my friends and learn at our own pace before bothering other players.

    Look here for Natural Selection 2 Server: http://portforward.com/cports.htm and check that you have all ports forwarded. Did you forward both TCP and UDP Ports?
