Can't change game settings, stuck on main menu

Hello there, when i launch the game i got this screen that asks if i want to perform a one-time optimization, if i click on Optimize nothing happens

When i click on Options im stuck here can't change resolution can't go back, can't do anything

Hi there, could you post your log?

I am currently re-installing the game with steam , will post my log right after.

@Jur1z Ok we had that issue before:

Try these steps:

1. Validate your gamefiles via Steam
2. Delete %appdata%/Natural Selection 2/ + /Steam/userdata/<steamid>/4920

If that doesn't solve the issue nuke NS2: http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/131428/obby-s-full-nuke-ns2-guide-only-way-to-be-sure

Well for one thing , its taking about twice the time it took me 1 hour earlier and the files is about twice the size , i remember i use to play the beta back in the days so maybe i had a mix up of old files , i have deleeted all traces of ns2 on my hard drive and now installing a fresh. Hope it goes well.

Yeah if you had the same issue as Jur1z it's a known update/dl issue. Nuking ns2 should fix it.
