Speeding Up Building Upgrades

<div class="IPBDescription">I'm not dumb i hope...</div> I could swear i read a post by one of the playtesters who said that "using" a building in the process of upgrading did nothing. Was I seeing things or did i just read that wrong. I was called a jackass for not "helping" upgrade a building and i want to know if im right. Or if im horribly, horribly wrong...

in 1.01 there was a exploit where u could "use" a building while it was upgrading and it would research faster. no longer in 1.02
