Hi Guys
I think this is a problem with steam more that NS but you might still be able to help
lately steam has been crashing and then it freezes NS, when steam finally responds and NS is unfrozen I timeout from my game, this happens randomly and I find it very frustrating
Any help will be welcome

Looks like you are running some mods. its worth ruling them out as a cause.
Be sure to de activate them all in your mods menu and then unsubscribe to all through steam workshop.
Then try running NS2 again to see if you still have this problem.
Thanks
By the way I love Samusdroid's holiday menu
Screw it, I'll just do a clean install of windows 8
Also be sure to not use any beta drivers for Windows 8
No errors or dumps left, completely deleted win 7.
I have no choice in what drivers I get, Intel have no windows 8 drivers on their website for my board, so I am using the default drivers for the board, graphic card is the latest (non beta) driver.
Everything seems to be working fine for me now, it definitely was a steam issue.
Unless that also failed.
