Rebinding Next/PrevWeapon

I'm trying to rebind PrevWeapon and NextWeapon to the "[" and "]" keys respectively and cannot figure out how no matter how hard I Google. I've tried console commands (bind "]" NextInv, bind "RightBracket" NextInv, etc), modifying options.xml and making a Config.cfg file (though I can't figure out where to put it). None of these things have worked. I'm looking for help specifically to bind NextWeapon to ] and PrevWeapon to [, if you can help me with this please let me know by posting here. Thanks.

First of all welcome to the forum and the ns2 community.

You can't really do that , you can only unbind and bind the mouswheel (MouseZ).

In generell bindings are in <steam folder>/userdata/<steamid>/4920/remote , edit the options.xml

And there is the next problem the Game only let you bind NextWeapon, the closest thing to PrevWeapon would QuickSwitch which let you switch back to your last Weapon.

In options.xml there isn't a bind for "NextWeapon", what exactly do I add? How can the game not have PrevWeapon when the mouse wheel does exactly that?

There should be <NextWeapon>MouseZ</NextWeapon> in it or why do i have it? Don't remember i added it, just that i messed around once with my options.

I tried editing options.xml and it didn't work. I've got a script (config.cfg) that I think might work, can anyone tell me where to put it?

Is there really no one who has an answer?

Sorry but CFG files are not supported (I cried as well). You may be able to do what was mentioned above, but I'd just go straight to autohotkey myself.
