Previous official map iterations

Is there any way to get access to previous major iterations of the official maps? Would be interesting to be able to run through them for nostalgia sake as well as getting insight into map balance changes.

Thanks

nope. Your only hope is to contact the official mappers and hope they don't mind sending you some old archived build.
@Insane is probably the best man to put you in the right direction for contacting the author of a particular map you are looking for.

Or maybe asking players if any have archived any old builds. I have archive's of most of the lua code from pre-1, and occasionally some of the models and maps were backed up too. I do have one or two older map builds, but all more from pre-release than any after..

    EDIT

    I have just checked and I have maps from b193, b194, b195, b196, b197, b198, b201, b203, b205, b206, b207, b209, b215, b218, b221, b223, b224 and Release, that is all...

As workshop wasn't around then, the custom maps we played were all in our maps folders, so I have things like Veil Alpha 2 and many other custom maps, from that period :)

Doesn't help that I need the main_menu.cinematic for the tram menu. I have old versions of maps from 249 if I didn't overwrite them accidentally.
