Different colour for unbuilt structures on the minimap.

When playing a game, I usually have the map up half the time which I use to decide what to do next. The problem is that I don't end up building structures because on the map it looks fully built, I just lost a game because of an unbuilt CC in pipeline so my commander couldn't beacon. I've played games in the past we've only had 3 res nodes built while five were placed down on the map (two were blueprints but there was no way to tell as a player). If there was a different colour for unbuilt structures it would help immensely, and it would even be partially useful for the alien players to know if a harvester is fully built or not.

It is a needed feature for public games. A different colour, or a different shade of colour on the map for unbuilt structures would be good.

    Green structures Would be fantastic! map nolege works wonders for everyone.
    Also so this isnt a hurr durr op for merens
    Works for gorges too. and people begging for leap whe nthey see two hives on their map. Y U NO LEAP COMMANDAR? saying teh hives not built 5 times, is not good for my mental stamina, plz.

    I've seen a need for this. The map looks you have 5 RTs but there are only 4 dots in the corner. smh A different color would be very welcome.

    At lot of changes would be helpful for rookies but IronHorse will tell you something alone the lines: "ahaha are you seriously suggesting to do game design based on rookies? you gotta be out of your mind".

    So bad idea. The comm knows what has to be built. He needs to communicate that to the rookies. If he's a rookie himself, well that's bad luck.

    Oh, and also in my original post I was thinking about making it so that you can only see your own team's unbuilt structures while the enemy structures always look fully built - just for some fog of war stuff. I dunno, this part really needs thinking out.

    This would make things easier for new players as well, at least assuming they actually open the map up.
