Razer Tiamat = No bass/Muffled sound

Hi guys, i recently upgraded to a Razer Tiamat 7.1 system. Using it in battlefield 4 sounds amazing, lots of bass and great for locating.

I booted it up with NS2 and it sounds terrible, it acts like it's still in stereo and i have no bass at all.

I'm using onboard Asus audio but windows is setup for 7.1, is there a way to confirm that NS2 is setup because i'm not seeing anything in the options menu for surround sound?

    You will learn one thing very quickly about this game, sound is bad. It works just enough for it to be ok.
