Creating a texture pack

Alright so I am finally finished retexturing everything and I of course have to upload it to the steam workshop, I have made multiple attempts at it and have failed every time. Can someone please guide me through this? None of the tutorials I could find were up to date, thanks! (All I replaced was a models, materials, and a UI folder)

Watched the 100 MB limit of ns2 mods at workshop? You might have to splitt up your mod.
In Generall publishing is easy: Open Launchpad.exe, (create a new project), copy all your modded folders/files into output. Click on Publish ;)

Alright so I didn't know there was a 100mb limit but just to test it out I split it up into 3 parts, first part couldn't publish for some reason, other 2 did and didn't work. All I did was paste what I had into the output folder and hit publish. Nothing worked.

Did you use the same folder structure like in the ns2 folder. Also you can test mods with the lauch game link in launchpad before publishing them.

Also did you got any error at publishing. Atm workshop servers are a bit ****, still shocked from winter sale. So sometimes you have to try it multiple times

Yes I did, for example Models>Marine>Rifle. Try doing this yourself and see if you can get it to work, the problem I'm having is where to put my files to publish, like it creates a source and output folder and also a settings file and I just haven't found an explanation for all of this yet /: Thanks a lot for the help btw

Ok here i go again (a basic how to mod ns2 tut and how ns2 mods work):

First how do mods work in spark:
Spark loads every file in the modfolder and replaces already existing files with modded files.

Now in the lauchpad only files inside /output get published.

/source is only needed for files you have to convert with builder, like new models etc. .

The builder.exe will place by itself generated files inside /output . But it's buggy so always check /output yourself.

If you press on publish your output folder gets temp gziped and if it fits to the workshop limit it will start to upload the gziped files.

Alright so I managed to get it published using your advice, thanks a lot :D So I reskinned the UI so it is green, I used some parts of the red eclipse mega pack and reskinned them but for some reason they still appear red. Another issue I'm having is I reskinned the blue lights on every gun to be green and they didn't change for some reason, if anybody could help me with this it would be great aswell :D Also the build structure waypoints are red too, don't know why any of this is because all the files are green.

Keep in mind, that's 100MB compressed. All workshop items are basically a zip file.

I managed to get it working, don't know what I was doing wrong but I got it working. Now the problem is the retextured guns are still blue even when they are green in the file /: And also some things I took from the Red eclipse Pack are still red even when they are green in the file.
