"Training" and/or "Sandbox" mode with mods, how?

Good afternoon,
I am trying to run "training" or "sandbox" mode with no success. From all the servers I play on I have many mods installed. This is in conjunction with the mods I have installed myself from the steam workshop. There has to be some way either via dev mode or the like where I can run the "training" or "sandbox mode" with all my installed mods. Please phrase your answer to my query as if I am a child. I need step by step instructions to get this working.

What does "no success" mean? Does the game crash? Does clicking on the training icon not do anything?

Sandbox mode loads all your mods that are enabled. It lists what mods you're running when you're loading sandbox mode anyways if you're not sure what's activated. It will only run the mods you have enabled in your mod menu.

Keep in mind, "sandbox" mode is literally identical to creating your own local (LAN) server, except with a few cheats being enabled. Just type these in your console on a local server (~ key):

cheats 1
alltech (everything unlocked)

If you want to replicate vs. bots play, use these in console in sandbox or a local server (with cheats enabled):

addbot 3 1 (adds 3 marine bots to team 1 marines)
addbot 3 2 (adds 3 bots to team 2 aliens)
addpassivebot 1 1 com (adds marine bot commander)
addpassivebot 1 1 com (adds alien bot commander)

This is smelling like it could be a tech support post in the making.
Have you tried to fully nuke your game lately?

Thank you all for the suggestions. I believe "Nuking" is in order and I will try that straight away and post results.
