The range of Shifts is wrong

I noticed during a practice yesterday that shifts actually seem to have a range twice the size of what it appears to have from the commander view. I and the other participants rapidly regained adrenaline far outside its range. It was a private server with mods activated, but the none of those mods alter the range of shifts. One of the other participants also said that it's been like that forever and still hasn't been fixed. I found this quite unbelievable as it can't be a hard thing to fix, assuming that this amazingly enough must have gone un-reported during all this time. I did some searching around in here and couldn't find any posts related to the range of shifts being off, so i'm almost starting to believe it may be so.

Could UWE confirm this? Is the range of shifts twice that of its circle in com-view? Were you aware of this?

    Ah, i see. So it's a misunderstanding then. Is this explained anywhere in the game; have we just missed it? It's a rather important thing for commanders to learn exactly how far the effects of structures reach. And the range of the adrenaline-regeneration is frankly a more important knowledge than the other, in my view. Could be something for UWE to consider.
