Glad to see there is an improvement on this topic.
We can now bind mouse-wheel up/down. which is nice.
*It would be nice to have a secondary set of key. Like the HL series. Primary and secondary.
The common example would be for a marine:
-to jump with mouse wheel
-to fly with jetpack using a keyboard key
If it isn't possible, i vote for a "role bindings". we have "field unit" and "commander". It would be better to have alien, marine and commander at least.
*Another thing : Instead of having a ton of shortcuts it would be nice to have 2 radial menu (so only 2 key)
1 for commander request (med, orders etc..)
1 for standard messages (taunt, let's go, etc.)
players could unbind less used message and only have 2 keys for radial menus and 1 or 2 keys for the most important request.
*Apparently there are some key that are hard coded. 2 found so far.
"I" on marine "weld at wp"
"S" as alien "ping map"
I checked mods and i don't seem to have one that interfere.
Maybe somebody could take a look.

When I bind "Evolve Last" to a key (my case it was "L"). Whenever I type in Team Chat with the "L" key like bile is up. I would become an egg and evolve (didn't check if it cost me res to do that). But was pretty annoying. So I had to bind "Evolve Last" to a uncommon key when in chat like apostrophe.
Poor, poor soon to die from English apostrophe.
