Attempting to connect forever at loading screen [mac]

So I got this running on a mac without bootcamp and used crossover instead and when i get in a loading screen i says attempting to connect and it does that forever so i there any way to fix it or am i just screwed until a official mac client comes out

im running OS X 10.8.5
2.6 GHz intel core i7
4GB 1600 MHz DDR3

I would like some help with my problem
Also for people who say i couldnt run this game on mac I run planetside 2 on moderete settings and get little to no lag

I did by this game legally on steam i was tired and thought the linux symbol was an apple so i bought it
Also if the game does come out on mac will I need to by another copy

It would be helpful to get a copy of you logs, Though I would have no idea where that might be on a mac using crossover.
%appdata%/Natural Selection 2/log.txt is what I am looking for.

With regard to your second question no you wont need to buy it again, but at present there are no plans to make a mac port.
