See the "Open Other" button? That's your ticket, right there.
Thx for the tip but....
I selected my old map folder as source (where the old ".publish" folder is in) then I published it but a new mod entry was created in Steam
What did go wrong?
You can retrieve your publish ID from the "%appdata%\Natural Selection 2\Workshop" folder, by subscribing to your mod, having it downloaded and then search for a file unique to your map (LR_Quarantine.level or something). Then you take the first part of the folder name. and remove the "m", for example my crosshair mod:
Big Thx Kouji_San
now it uploaded it to the right entry, unfortunatley the upload is crashing all the time.... is a 150mb big mod/map too much for Steam nowadays... coz in the past it worked

Wow, I wasn't aware of the 1000 file limit either.... This really does show that the workshop is geared towards cosmetic and other simple changes to the game, and not proper full-scale mods.

ID would be 63a358d, which is tied to the mod on your Steam workshop.

Yeah and they should really make this stuff more clear
It's in the steamdb: http://steamdb.info/app/4920/#section_ufs
But yeah there should be a warning at the launcher
