    See the "Open Other" button? That's your ticket, right there. :)

    Thx for the tip but....
    I selected my old map folder as source (where the old ".publish" folder is in) then I published it but a new mod entry was created in Steam :(
    What did go wrong?

    You need to get the publish ID and setup the new folder structure and files to be able to publishing this stuff:
    /output
    /source, as the name implies, your source files and related folder structures goes here
    mod.settings, with the following content:
    name = "You mod name, Quarantine?"
    source_dir = "source"
    output_dir = "output"
    description = [=[Some description goes here]=]
    image = "preview.jpg"
    publish_id = "your publish ID"

    preview.jpg (512x512)

    You can retrieve your publish ID from the "%appdata%\Natural Selection 2\Workshop" folder, by subscribing to your mod, having it downloaded and then search for a file unique to your map (LR_Quarantine.level or something). Then you take the first part of the folder name. and remove the "m", for example my crosshair mod:

    AppData\Roaming\Natural Selection 2\Workshop\m63a358d_1391467171\

    ID would be 63a358d, which is tied to the mod on your Steam workshop.

    Wow, I wasn't aware of the 1000 file limit either.... This really does show that the workshop is geared towards cosmetic and other simple changes to the game, and not proper full-scale mods.
