Game crash on new game install

Just reformatted my computer with Win7 64 and just recently installed NS2. I'm using the latest catalyst drivers and I've tried using D3D9 and D11 and multiple resolution settings to see if it helps. 1920x1080 I would crash in less than 5 seconds and 1280x720 I'll crash in about 5 minutes while doing the tutorial. Little help?

After reading some more threads, I'm not running any other overlay and I don't have any mods running. Checked cache on steam and nothing is wrong.

CPU: Intel i5-2500k
GPU: Radeon HD 6950
RAM: 16GB

    Seems like a tut issue. Did you try to join a real server?
