No, but seriously. It seems like every second game that's not a stack ends as a 35+ min stalemate nowadays. And I'm not even talking about turtles here; but proper stalemates, where neither side can gain an upper hand.
Are we lacking a deus ex machina (or deus ex bacteria, for aliens)?

i actually haven't been in a bad long game in a while. we never have fixed lines. They kill a hive, we take a new one, we kill chair they arc something down. when everybody knows how to respond, back and forth isn't stagnation. if the battle-lines aren't moving for 25+ minutes... really, you're doing something wrong.
