Can anyone else replicate this? (HDMI bug)

If I have my secondary monitor enabled via HDMI port on my video card and then go into the game and hold the SHIFT key, my FPS drops in half. I don't have to be moving or in combat or anything, just press and hold the SHIFT key and it drops my FPS. As soon as I let go of SHIFT, the FPS returns to normal.

Also, as soon as I unplug my HDMI cable from the 2nd monitor, the problem goes away.

GTX580, Win7, monitor 1 is @ 2560x1600 via DualLink DVI, monitor 2 is @ 1920x1080 via HDMI.

Have honestly never heard of this.
I assume you have "sticky keys" disabled?

yes sticky keys is disabled, never had this problem before until I started using my TV as a secondary monitor via the hdmi port. Very strange issue and doesn't appear to occur in other games.

which renderer are you using? tried switching from fullscreen windowed to fullscreen (or vice versa)?

Not yet, that's a good test I will do that when I get home. At the moment I've been experiencing the issue in fullscreen mode.

I get a similar effect when I'm alt-tabbed. Maybe your shift key is doing something similar?

I reinstalled my video card drivers and the problem seems to be resolved, also the problem did not happen in windowed mode so I suspect that it was something to do with the game client thinking that my 2nd monitor was some kind of overlay or something whenever I held down the shift key? Still pretty strange and I don't know the problem for sure but at least it's fixed now.
