Didn't really want to make a new thread for this so I'll post it here...
I've slowly come to the realization that since the 267 update I can't climb clogs as a Skulk anymore...
I assumed it was a bug, but I have yet to see anyone else even mention it, which makes me worry it was an intended "fix" ... Please tell me it's a bug that will be fixed soon because it feels broken as hell not being able to climb over a clog wall.

It's already confirmed as a bug, and AFAIK a fix is planned for 268.

It is on trello. And it is confirmed fixed for 268.
I love the work, there is still one thing missing from this game, that is match making.
2 Weeks ago, when you released the new community patch , I joined several games without any thought or rhyme or reason - I just randomly selected from the sever list, as best as I could get towards 'random'.
1st game - lasted 5 mins, got kicked for 196 average ping.
2nd game - Same result, different server, but again had a ping limit.
3rd game - IPS recycled before I could spawn, game apparently over.
4th game - 150hours + - kicked within 30 seconds?
5th game - Docking map, lasted 30 seconds of marine slaughter. Game finishes.
6th game - Went com on rines, no one else wanted to get in for minutes, built one forward structure, lost everything in the first 2 minutes :P
7th game ... went khamm on aliens, think we might have won. Finally a game from the start.
@OnosFactory that's ridiculous. you switched server after having joined at the end of a game to see a loss? And who doesn't factor ping into the equation at all when joining servers? I don't filter on ping but I'll prioritise local servers when I'm selecting one to join.

I agree but not so sure there's any server with good ping for someone from New Zealand.

So ... 1 / 7 aint bad?
That doesn't seem like a very convincing argument though.
The point of having a server browser is so you can filter out servers depending on your preferences. You can't blame anyone but yourself if you just randomly select servers to join and end up getting kicked for having a high ping or not meeting other specifically mentioned requirements like x amount of playtime.
The other thing to understand is that slots mostly open up when a round has ended or is close to ending. That's pretty much standard for any multiplayer game. I don't see how it's much of an issue though, a new round will start shortly anyway.
Having said that, matchmaking is obviously a nice thing to have, and still on the table for future updates perhaps. Though it'll be hard to pull off considering the limited NS2 playerbase.
1. Marine staxx from the start, unfortunately by sever owners/clan members, Aliens had green 2 marines, luckily 1 was female so game was bearable. As Alien comm. Which took 4 mins to get to and start.
2. Started a 1 on 2, yay, it was even 1 on 2 vs Aliens, lol. And the joiners joined aliens. Yay.
3. Aliens won in minutes, absolute chaos.
4. Aliens stack, try to join but get swapped by admin. losing interest in actually wanting this game to succeed.
5. Agony, Alien stack.
6. Aliens win whilst Marines are 4 -vs 10.
7. Eyes watering.
8.11 Minute game, might even have won, I doubt it was 'fun.'
9. Comm got kicked when it looked like we were winning. So one game out of 9, ruined by the team kicking the comm, who did nothing bad beyond not beaconing, probably BECAUSE THEY DIDNT KNOW WHAT IS WAS.
So --- fcuk you, your game is played but fcuk wits. Why waste out time?

Awesome good to hear.. Thanks.
Yeah I turned this option off as soon as I realised my fps was dropping by half every time I go near a marine

What is that?

Especially: What the living bejesus is that meant to mean?
Here is roughly what female gamers encounter in a male-dominated competitive environment:
