Pre-ordered years back.

I can remember pre-ordering NS2 when it was first available but my PC died soon after. I'm not sure what I'm meant to do as I've been away for about 6 years. Is there a code or something I'm missing and will I have to re-purchase to have the game on Steam? Sorry if this is covered somewhere else, I've tried to navigate to the answer of my question but have had no joy.

UWE sent cd-keys via email. If you activated it in steam I don't see why it wouldn't be there.
