Firing Bug/ Black screen

So whenever I push the rightM to fire the screen does black but a square up in the left corner, same happens when I am a alien. The weird thing it only does it with the rightM not the leftM. suggestions to fix it? Oh and I'm running Windows 8.

    @MooMooMilk I think I know what's wrong! I had this issue, too. Go into your NS2 options, turn your Particle Quality from Low to High. That worked for me, but I don't know why :D Any time I used a projectile, it would freak out (So guns firing, parasite, lerk spikes, etc). I'll report it as an issue on our bug tracker and see if we can get it fixed

    @CyborgKuroChan Next time you should make a new thread (New player forums would be an appropriate place, not so much technical support) :P Commander badges are earned by commanding for 10 hours of losing games or 5 hours of winning games on whitelisted servers. You can check to see if a server is whitelisted here. You'll have to login to hive.naturalselection2.com to check and see if you've commanded enough hours for the badge!

    Ola estou tendo problemas com o Natural Selection 2.
    Eu comprei ele pela steam dai eu baixei ele e quando fui apertar para iniciar ele inicia mais a tela so fica preta e não aparece mais nada.
    Sim eu tenho os requisitos para ter ele no meu PC.
