Scoreboard/Map scaling

I play on a laptop and so I play on a lower resolution in order to increase FPS. The problem I have is that whenever I use a resolution lower than 1280x whatever, parts of the map are cut off the edge of the screen and the scoreboard overlaps itself/goes off the edge of the screen so it's partially unreadable. Is there a way to scale these things based on the resolution I'm using?

We (mainly mendasp) are currently working on improving how the ns2 gui scales overall.

For now i would suggest to try to play at a server with ns2+ as mendasp is testing a few changes already via that :)
