Ns Causes Insomnia?

Hey, I think i've been playing NS WAY too much, because all I can hear when I go to bed is"shotgun at spawn!" or "fades are attacking the base." Maybe i'm the only one but I don't think so. I'm not complaining or anything, but it's just i've never not been able too sleep from playing a video game. Is NS really causing my brain to melt? Have my mothers warnings, my worst fears come true? SOMEONE HELP!!!!!! Just wondering if anyone else feels this way

    Your problem is a common one. To fix it, just type "ns_brainradiation 0" in console

    Yeah, I've noticed this bug too. I've found that the best way to fix it to get a set of gardening shears with a nice, insulated handle, go to the back of the computer, and slice through any cords you find there. The error should disappear after a week of leaving your computer in this condition. It also helps to not have any extra cords lying around, or you may find the bug re-occuring spontaneously.

    heh try commanding a few games in a row before bedtime and then spend the rest of the night dreaming about the damn game. Or should I say nightmare - "Give me a hmg", "Medpack now comm ffs", "jetpack **obscenity**!"

    I eat sleep and breathe NS. I mean when I get off the computer and go to bed, I'm thinking of different approaches to all the maps, envisioning that one kill or bite attack that was just awesome, figuring out flaws in whatever I might of done wrong.

    I'm pretty sure my sub-concious while sleeping is doing it.

    And when I wake up, aside from the mystery of morning wood, my mind is on NS, what will work on which map, how can we break the cycle.

    It's scary....

    It's even worse hearing the sound as you drift to sleep "COMMANDER HEALTH PACK NOW VENTILATION HIVE!" "GOD **obscenity** GET THE SIEGE UP!" "THEY ARE ATTACKING ECLIPSE COMMAND GET BACK TO SPAWN!" and all the different sounds available, "ready to move" or all the Lerk/Fade sounds when walking around, not the squish, the growls

    yeah i didn't think i was so bad off... a few hours here a couple there... some before bed... and then i checked that cs stats site and it says i've played 88 hours... are there any ns addict support groups out there? i'm gonna need one

    yeah, instead of sleeping 8 hours aday i now sleep like from 2/4 hours aday, doesnt matter for me, only live once so do what ya like doin

    Hey, it's the only way I've found to fix the bug. Otherwise, I'll boot up in mid-afternoon to check my e-mail, and say, "Well, as long as I'm here, maybe I should play one quick game of NS."

    One game turns into two, because the last match was so much fun. Then two becomes three, because I just can't believe we lost that round, I depend redemption! And then three turns into four, and before I know it, 12 hours have passed.

    It is the biggest production killer of my day. I may need to start using a typewriter to write, just to avoid the temptation here.
