Debug message

Hello, i have a little problem with a mod i downloaded on steam workshop called "RED ECLIPSE MEGA PACK".

I get a window opening (debug message) when i want to enter a server (i saw it was that mod because the log.txt tells me so)

So i tried to fix the problem by delete the workshop file, unsubscribe the mods, delete the cache and verify its integrity, uninstall and reinstall the game and desynchronise the game from the cloud but i doesn't work.

The mods are always coming back and i get that message again and again.

I can still play, but i have to delete the workshop file everytime i start the game. If i enter another server, the game opens me that window again so i have to shut the game, redelete the file and restart the game.

It's kinda boring to have to do that to play, NS2 is a great game (even if i suck on it) but i'd like to have some help to fix that problem please.

PS: sorry for my bad english, i'm french so it might not be really well wrote.

Well have you deactivated the mod through the menu in NS2?
Then unsubscribe (and confirm) through steam?
    Then Delete your workshop folder.
Then go to your :\Program Files\Steam\userdata\YOURID\4920\remote\options.xml and ensure the part that says
    "<active_mods></active_mods>"
Looks exactly like that, with nothing in between.

I desactivated the mod through the mod menu in the game but it doesn't fix the problem (and it can causes me to not be able to click anything when i enter that menu btw).

I've unsub the mods but i don't remember any confirmation message for that, when i check my subscrib mod list on NS2, it's totally empty (it's quite normal since i unsubscribe).

Already deleted the workshop folder but it keeps coming back WITH the mods that causes problems (i don't get why... it would be logic if i wouldn't unsub the mod but that's not the case).

    -<mods>

    <active_mods>d2577d0 7c92314 63a358d cecc5d9</active_mods>

That's what that part says, don't know if there's something wrong there, maybe you'll know so that's why i paste it there.

So what do i do next please ?

Remove everything between those <active_mods> brackets and save the file ;)

^ Like I said before, and like Ghoul just said, remove that data in between those brackets, so that it looks like this:
    <active_mods></active_mods>

Then save the file and try playing

IDK what that is, but you can just open and edit the XML file using notepad, which comes with all versions of Windows.

I guess the note pad is what i call the paper block on windows.
I opened the file with it to edit that line and delete the thing you asked me to, and now it works perfectly like before.

Thank you very much for your help you two, i wouldn't find the solution alone.

No problem! Glad it worked for you.
Hopefully we can prevent it from happening in the future.

    See you in game!
