"The application has encountered a fatal error"

Hello, when I start the game , the game goes to a loading screen. Shortly after ( about 15 seconds ) I get a Debug Report saying "The application has encountered a fatal error". The game freezes and will not allow me to play.
My computers specs are:
GPU: Getforce GTX 970
CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) 2 x3 705e Processor
Memory: 5.GB DDR2
My driver version is 344.75
OS: Windows 7

if you could go to %appdata% (need to search for it, the folder is hidden) And config i believe, either under steamapps or steam, or just Natural selection 2, you will find a log.txt, post it here please.

Can't remember the exact path, sorry, m8.

Looking at that log file, you have a number of corrupt or missing files from your NS2 directory. Verify your Steam Cache for NS2 and it should be fine.
