What Is The "best" Hive?

Everytime aliens in Caged start in the sewer hive they've pretty much won. Vent hive is nearby with two res nozzles and the marines NEVER go there until late into the game. Once they find out sewer hive is the main hive they'll almost always opt to fortify the generator hive and maybe send a small force to try and build towards the sewer. Meanwhile a single gorge and build and fortify the vent hive peacefully. The skulks go fade (with the occasional lurk) and break up the marine defenses at generator, and that pretty much spells doom for the hapless marines.

dont know if there is a best hive , but the water hive on bast is hell to start at , but the engin room on the same map is the best to get . just shut the large door at the turn styly bit and n00bies walk right by it

Refinery Hive on Bast, coversely is a NIGHTMARE to defend, by Hive standards. FAR too many ways in, and a nice big JPacker friendly high roof.

Eclipse Command was the first Hive I ever built as a Gorge, therefor it has a special place in my heart.

Acutal No since in BAST a Smart Commander Lines his Far wall with Seige Turrets

The Purpose?
They kill everything except the Hive in Engine Room, They kill any Defense you set up in the Corridor and he can always build a few to kill the ones in the Airlock Room

only kewl thing with it is that u can stand behind the textures on one of the walls.. see throu, and not be seen... (good as marine)
