Cyclops 'windscreen' reflection - dim lights inside when piloting?

I've been using the Cyclops a lot today and noticed that the windscreen has some very annoying reflections on it constantly. It makes seeing out of the thing REALLY difficult... I keep squinting to see if it's a reflection or a rock face about to have me drive into it.

Can this perhaps be toned down?

The sun relfections shouldn't affect it quite so much, and the lights inside the Cyclops should dim when you get into the helm so that the player can properly see what's going on.

Thanks! :)

I agree... it's hard to see out of the thing

It could just be a shader issue that'll be fixed. It would be nice to see a "navigation mode" where the hull of your ship around you goes transparent while driving.

Yeah there are all sorts of cool things that could be done. That idea about the 'augmented reality mode' when piloting is cool. Just imagine the inside of the helm is lots of big monitor panels which show the view from outside in their orientation. So in effect, you end up standing in the middle of what seems like a bubble in the ocean and can see through to the water all around you :D

agreed its hard to see out but thats also because the steering wheel is so large if if it could be shrunk a bit it would help allot with visability me thinks

Having the steering column flat like a truck steering wheel at waist height should deal with the problem of being blind to everything in front of you. The observation window artifacts look like a much more technical problem.
