base?

Is it me or do the base bit just look like sunken sub's there same space has the sub interior ? What the point of having tubes? I mite has well go in sub and leave it there! There no room for computer,seats,equipment, just a toilet roll with windows sorry I don't like them.

logistically and structurally a circular tube works a lot better than a square especially in an environment where pressure gets applied the deeper you go. Sure a square might be more rugged but it costs a lot more in resources to be made and it's heavier. A pipe (circular tube) works better because it can take a lot more torsion, pressure, costs less materials and isn't as heavy. I mean look at what a half semi circle (an arch) can do.

Yer I get why they done it but my point his you can't expand a room upwards or across it just a case of one tube corridor here the a a hatch and another corridor room here see what I'm getting at the base will always look like little tube corridors! What the point adding more tubes ? I mite has well make one and that it right? Why bother make anorther tube? That nothing more the a corridor?. A base should have different size room not just same size little tubes that have no room in it?

game is a wip, it's extreme early alpha! most likely they'll probably change the building designs down the road. Nothing is set in stone atm for the game base building wise.
