Free look, very much needed in a game like this.

Hi everyone, just some thoughts but in a game like this where you can get disoriented quick, I feel like there definitely needs to be a key that you can hold down so you can free look with your character's head, upon releasing the key, your character looks back at where your body is oriented, finally I can tell which way is up without flailing around.

This would be most useful in the cyclops in seamoth BUT THE SEAMOTH especially, that thing is very very confusing and disorienting with the lack of a orientation tool that tells me which way is up.

But aside from practical reasons, it would be nice just to be able to look around.

I would suggest that some kind of dashboard compass like in aircraft (magnetic direction plus gravity showing tilt/pitch) would be more suitable. Just get this mounted in a visible position on each pilotable craft, maybe even as an upgrade potential!

In practice, free look tends to be more confusing than not, and it certainly won't help you tell which way is "up" when you're deep underwater in a cave with no point of reference. The easiest way would be to see which way the bubbles go when you breathe out! Just make sure it's not your last breath :P

This would help a lot too, it should be a craftable item as well, but while in vehicles I think my suggestion still stands, me and a lot of people would like to be able to look around the cockpit and through all the areas of glass I'm sure.

You already can do this in the bigger subs, and perhaps it doesn't make much sense in the smaller subs because there is literally no other window to see out of but the one in front of you :)
