Strange Supply box

Hello guys i have been playing survival mode for quite some time now. The game looks awesome and even so not meany things are implemented yet its looks like it will be a excellent game at lunch. Anyway i digress, while exploring i find a supply box that had some advance parts like a terraformer some strange signals and gold or diamond etc. The strange part is that each time i clean the box from its loot and went back to check if anything was left the box spwan new loot. I thinks its a bug but have anyone found this box or somting similar? The strange signal have any purpose?

I haven't found this box yet, but I heard of it from other players who had the same question. I think it's a bug. I can tell you what the signals do though, if you hold them in your hand you get a message and see a beacon, then you can go there in your Seamoth to find something special. I don't want to give spoilers though

I found it yesterday but I have not checked after I got all the items out of it... I'll try to find it again.
The signal has a purpose: equip it and look around... should I tell more? I don't want to spoil something.

Edit2: OK, found the supply box and must acknowledge that it was full again! Playing standard version, that is 15015 Mar-15

I will try the signal thing soon but this box man i have too much stuff i can't get rid of all this items unless i dump it on the sea and thats wrong. Contaminated sea not cool man and much less when its a new planet trying to populate lol.

Do you guys know of a way to delete items without the use of console commands of course.

Just dig a big hole in the sand, then chuck it all in and forget about it. That's what the rest of humanity does :P

I only found it once... but seen some pictures where other players found it at the same position - not deep, near radiation, ... as I remember.

Edit: actually I meant that I found it two times at the same position

I found 4 supply boxes and took away them to myself on base . Boxes with supplies are located in a radioactive zone and on its border.

Argh in the radiation borderline ? Seems dangerous o_O But seems VERY usefull, I will try that a bit ^^ Thanks for the info
