i would really like if the developers could make some cind of small crabs looking cratures that was really slow and you could tell it what to get. like if i did have a quartz i could put it in the "crab" and it would slowly start finding quartz. and it could pick up like 5 quartz and then return to you/your base
So I have a few ideas but don't want to clog up the forums with another thread.
1. Biological scanner- this would be an upgrade for the cyclops where it can at least detect locations and size (small,medium, and large) of creatures, then could be upgraded that if you can capture and scan creatures you can tell the specific creature on the scanner as well as letting you know if a new creature has been detected
2. From a previous post there was mention of using bleeders to extract venom and was thinking perhaps one (not only) possible bleeder defense us a bio-engineered venomous sample that doesn't harm you (much?) where if a bleeder attacks you it let's go due to venom in your blood (a possible mechanic is anti-bleeder venom can be stacked but overdose causes harm)
3. A gasopod extractor upgrade for seamoth since seems several ideas for gasopod gas
4. Mentioned before in previous posts but a sonar thing for the seamoth that will cause all small fish (specifically thinking of bleeders) will stay clear, though defensive radius should be fairly small, though not too much
I was wondering if you guys had thought about doing something else with the sky. To make it feel more alien It almost feels like you could be on the earth.
Maybe we are the "Ancient Aliens" just starting to seed the earth
Hi, this i my idea how a "Research-Feature" could be implemented to the Game!
-first two Screens Show something like a camera, which allows u to scan/take Pictures of creatures/plant u aim on and give u some extra visual Feedback on Research-Progress and maybe known strength/weaknesses! (buff/debuff icons)
- if the creature/plant is unknown u get a visual cue (red border)
- the lower screen shows a basic example how the "Research-Log" may look like. listing all known Facts, Progress and so on.
- if u reach 100% Research-Progress u can "send" the log to Altera Corp to receive some nice bonuses/buffs connected to that creature/plant
the idea is abot a) and b) working together. a) beeing the way how to gather intel and b) how to display it, what u learn from it and so on. like a ingame wiki of some sort.
this is my Alien-Suit or Endgame Suit i was thinking 'bout
I thought it would be a nice turnaround for the player, since this suit turns u from a stranger to a actual inhabitant of the alien planet.
and the view trough the membran helmet lets u feel even more alien.
it's supposed to be pretty much an endgame reward after anything else is done, so u can mess around and freeroam without limitations anymore!
