When it crashed a window came up saying it had saved a crash report and to send it to the developer, link below hope it helps.

Thanks for the report.

The same out of memory crash. Hope fully fixed soon.

As always you can try experimental instead of the stable build and things might get better and might get much much worse. It's a sort of chaos option.
