Ran into some Stalkers while resource collecting. Shot one of them with the Stasis Field while the other went away. I swam in, and killed the caught Stalker with my knife before the field collapsed. I swam back to my Seamoth, and upon entering noticed the Field has spontaneously regenerated and proceeded to persist permanently from then on. Additionally, the other Stalker had gotten caught on the side of the Stasis Field (not actually touching/in it). I swam up to him and killed him with my knife (sounds were working fine).
After Saving/Loading, the field has disappeared along with both the Stalkers.
