In regular usage it is nice because you can see webs and the like a whole lot easier (helpful for gorges). But where it shines is when you get advanced hive site. Now *marines* glow in the dark too! Harder to be snuck up on and easier to aim in the dark.

My question is, do marine buildings/turrets glow too?

Also important -> with flashlight on, you are able to see your cloaked alien-teammates.
