Improved ping (not that ping)

I've always found it hard to hear and to locate the ping. I would like it to be more visible on the map and I think it needs a more distinct sound. Perhaps something like the old submarine sonar ping.

    Yeah, I would love it to be more like Dota 2's ping. Shows up on the map briefly and makes a pinging noise. Something like this?
