Hey guys, I recently went into the ship in the new update, and I am here to share my research and some other things about Subnautica, ENJOY!
Creatures
Airsack
The Airsack resides in any area of Subnautica, it can be cooked for eating, or used to make water.
Stalker
Stalkers usually reside in creepvine forests, they collect scrap metal and bring it along with them, you can tame them with 3-4 raw peepers.
Peepers
Peepers are somewhat mostly eyeball creatures, they have one, big eye in the center of them, can be cooked for food.
Reaper Leviathan
The Reaper Leviathan is a sea monster that rarely resides nearby the Aurora before and after the explosion. It will attack you, grab your submarine and shake it around, and can mostly not be stasised.
Reefbacks
Reefbacks are commonly associated with whales, however, they are similar looking to a massive, non jelly, jellyfish, they make gigantic whale noises, and do nothing but look cool.
Bleeders
Bleeders reside in creepvine forests, and the engine room water in the Aurora, they latch on to you, and until you hit them off, slowly kill you.
Boomerangs
Boomerangs are just like the Airsacks and Peepers, can be cooked for food.
Crash Meal Monsters
As of right now I'm sure they have no name, but these guys live in pods, 1 to a pod, and when you get close, follow and blow up in your face. After explosion, back at their pod, you can collect Crash Meal.
Others
The Aurora
The Aurora explodes after 10-20 minutes in game as of last patch, and can be explored if using a R.A.D.I.A.T.I.O.N S.U.I.T. After the detonation, the front will be open, loot the boxes, and beware of the crabs, go inside the main part, and you come to an engine room, repair the leaks, and well done, you fixed the radiation, in that same room, there is also an item that increases submarine power efficiency.
(ALSO NOTE): The item that increases the power efficiency has an easter egg on it, look at it, and it says: "Just for you, Jacksepticeye". This is a reference to one of my all-time favorite youtubers, who has close to 4 million subscribers. KEEP GOING JACK! WE ALL LOVE YOU!
