[Experimental] Is there a way to load the game without quitting to windows first?

In experimental, I notice that the save game is often broken.
Things we create tend to not save, or not load properly, etc.
It would be a great help for testing purposes if we could just quick-save and quick-load so we can test immediately if some new features are saved and load properly.
Even better, a "save as" feature would allow to revert back to previous save if new feature was not saved correctly. At least that way we can save before a major build (like building the seamoth or the cyclop) and testing to be sure the new object created "sticks" in the save game, without losing everything. Especially those disappearing lockers...
