Upgrade ideas for the power plants

So i have been thinking why not enabling upgrades for the power plants too?

Such as more efficient solar cells for the solar panels? Or even remodel them into this beauty? solarbeam_parabolic_solar_collector_20.jpg

A more resource efficient bio-reactor capable of making each piece of creepvine last longer/ produce more power for each piece.

The thermal plant would be just more efficient, capable of producing more power.


And The Piece Du Resistance:

A 4th gen upgrade for the nuclear reactor, that besides making it meltdown free, it would also recycle it's fuel from it's waste allowing the bars to last way way longer.

    Are the bio reactors working now?
    At first I made one and got 4 creepvine pieces to put in it, but whenever I clicked it, nothing would happen.
    So I disassembled it and created solar panels instead.

    So how do I load creepvine into the bio-generator?

    tbh I wondered at first why we would need anything but solar.
    I mean, place it near base, grab 90%+ efficiency, make 4 panels.. Pretty infinite power right there.

    But then I thought, deep bases.. But we got power transfer things right?
    But perhaps making a chain would be insane.. ok ok.
    So bioreactor, sounds nice.

    But most deep deep bases would by away from vines.
    Which makes me think a bioreactor would need to run on any biomaterial, plant or fish to be truly a viable powersource.

    Yeah. True. Unless they introduce a deep sea harvestable plant.
    Like say, blue and green mushroom plants. But those are a type of coral. So maybe something else. Like a shrub. Who knows?
