Are there any plans to add things such as sleeping quarters, kitchen, lab etc ?

There's a bench (for sitting on) in progress at the moment, though it's not really a bed. The genetic modification stuff might have its own dedicated lab room, so that'd be a lab. As for kitchen, it would be neat to make creepvine/peeper sushi but haven't seen anything about changing how cooking currently works.

it would be nice to have a kitchen so you can fill up your hydration bar and then cook meals with different fish,fruits and vegetables

Cant wait for the rooms. Getting bored with tubes. they are in, but not fully functional.

The rooms are still boring right now, but now you've got extra space to pace out your boredom!

But really the observatory and glass tubes are cool, and I'm hoping that when the update drops the benches and aquarium will actually be functional. It's still fun to play with the rooms at this point: http://imgur.com/mVPfQca
