extinction and breeding

A few days ago i was on the forums and people were saying it would be cool if it were possible for creatures (airsacks for example) if they were all killed and eaten they would go extinct and then thought to stop this from happening you would have to build a breeding chambers onto your base and there are three types of breeding chambers one for small creatures one for medium sized creatures and one for large sized creatures but you would have to tranquilize certain creatures with certain tranqs and then use a tool or vehicle or your hands to transport them to the different breeding chambers. please reply i would love to hear your ideas and opinions. :)
