Cyclops respawn?

So i had trouble dying because of food and water (mainly because i went too far out) and would re-spawn at the beginning ship even after I got the Cyclops. Is there currently or in the future a way to respawn at the cyclops? I know i can re-spawn at bases but if my ships is a god awful distance away and there are leviathans...how do I get it back>?

    maybe a end game tech using warpers or warper dna to move between bases and your cyclops? or even just bases to bases that are far apart?
